Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind was the first anime I ever watched, back around 1989-1992. I can't remember an exact date. I must have been around 5 years old.

I knew it by its American title, "Warriors of the Wind".

I drew this with a Wacom Bamboo in Photoshop.

This is fan art. Characters in this drawing are © Hayao Miyazaki, creator of the movie.

lovely job!the usage of complimentary-ish colors in the background are really quite beautiful. Your choice of blues works well to tie the whole thing together. My favorite part--go figure--is the shadow of the mevhe's handlebars. That little touch really speaks to me on the care you must have taken in making this piece!
